Hello my name is Tabatha Lansbury. My son is battling cancer. His name is Tommy Sells.
We are a family of 6. My husband is a truck driver, and he is having to take care off all the house bills. I, myself, am supposed to start school in two weeks.
This news has taken a toll on all of us. We are the kind of family that if you have cancer, we all have cancer.
I am losing hours at work to take my son to his chemo treatments that are 2 hours away from our home. Tommy was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer a week after Thanksgiving 2015. It has been a tough road to say the least.
Today my van (our only vehicle) had to go into the shop. Just another expense that we can't deal with right now.
We appreciate anything Fight the Fight can do for us.
Update February 2016:
Tommy has finished round 2 of chemo. His bones are starting to hurt due to the shots that he needs inbetween the treatments.
When we came home from his 2nd treatment, we had 5 medical bills at are over $5,000.00. And that's just the start of them.
Update March 2016:
Tommy's last chemo treatment is scheduled for March 18th, 2016, and as of, March 1st he is cancer free!
More than 50% of the proceeds from all Fight the Fight purchases made between March 16th, 2016 and March 31st, 2016 will be donated to Tommy's family to help cover medical related expenses.
