My First Podcast Experience with Host John Knowles

Posted by Pete Visintin on

It's tough to stand out and get seen or heard in today's increasingly crowded and perpetually busy digital world.

John Knowles has found a way to cut through the clutter and produce an internet radio show or podcast that brings value and entertainment to listeners on the go.

Some podcasts are created to inspire us, some are created to inform us, and some are meant to entertain us.  John's show completes the mighty trifecta and achieves all three.

He calls it the "What's That Like?" podcast and brings in guests to share their opinions, insights, and personal stories on a variety of topics.

What is a podcast you ask?

Podcast - n.  a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile devise, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

For years I've listened to podcasts on all sorts of business and fitness related subjects while driving which has enabled me to transform my automobile into my own personal development laboratory, and I've always wondered what it would be like to be on one some day!

My opportunity came last week when John asked me to be a guest on his show.

For almost an hour we discussed everything from my life story and entrepreneurial journey to marketing tips for small businesses.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and did my best to bring as much value as I could to you, the listeners, in the time we had.

As you'll hear in the show, I believe John has a real knack and talent for podcasting, sort of like your favorite disc jockey's on the radio.....Or as I now refer to him "The Casey Kasem of podcasting!"

Listen to the show on your next commute:

We invite you to participate in our discussion by listing your favorite takeaway from the episode in the comments below!.....
