Hello, I am a 61 year old wife, mother and grandmother, who lives in Litchfield, IL. I was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer called Uterine Carsinosarcoma which is a combination of two types of cancer together.
This is my second time battling cancer, as 10 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery, chemo, radiation and a biologic agent, I consider myself to be a breast cancer survivor, as that cancer has not returned.
However, I was diagnosed with this new, and separate cancer, and I have had surgery, am currently going through chemotherapy, and most likely will have radiation in the next few months.
Even through it all, I am keeping a positive attitude because it hasn't defeated me yet!
