Survivor Story: Tommy Reynolds

Thomas "Tommy" Reynolds was hospitalized several weeks ago with pneumonia.  While in the hospital they removed 2 1/2 liters of fluid from his right lung which was found to have cancerous cells in it.

A PET scan was scheduled to determine where the cancer originated.  Before the results came back he was once again admitted to the hospital for fluid build up and another 2 1/2 liters was taken off his lungs.

The PET scan revealed that the cancer originated in his lungs.  He has paratracheal nodes in his right lung and nodules in the left.  He has another appointment lined up to discuss the course of action regarding the chemotherapy.

His wife Lori has been fighting cancer since 2012.  Last month it was determined that her cancer is active again, and she has been put on weekly chemotherapy when her platelet level allows.

She has to be admitted this past week for transfusions.  This is a very difficult time on their family trying to get them both taken to the doctors, hospital, and for tests.

They are also awaiting the arrival of their great granddaughter in just a few weeks.

This is a strong faithful and bonded family who are ready for the fight!

Please continuing praying for both of my parents. I still have faith...
